School Visit

Yesterday I got the chance to stop by Patricia's classroom to see her students. I'd only met them once before, but they were excited to see me. They were intrigued by the uniform and where I'll be going... but had no problem bailing on me when recess time came around. I brought them all a little American Flag. A couple have already written me notes and given me some treasured stickers.

Yesterday I completed my biggest task when I shipped all medical and dental records to Fort Lewis. I'm sure I'll regain some of the responsibility in a few days when we go through the medical and dental stations again.

Tomorrow we're having a departure ceremony in Topeka for family and friends of the soldiers of the 1-635th Armor Battalion.
